We are now looking to expand our AVL team here in Södertälje with a Technician for our group in Transmission & Electrification (electric drivetrains). We see that you have 2-4 years of work experience and are at the beginning of your career.

• To prepare test objects mechanically and instrument them for testing both in test cells and in vehicles, on behalf of the customer, in a modern workshop in a lab environment
• To mechanically assemble and disassemble test objects or to change and modify test items
• To closely work with the testing engineer and customer to measure various parts of the test objects and document this
• To document and ensure quality of work within the set time
• Troubleshooting and customized solutions based on testing needs as the position is part of an R&D operation
• To participate in improvement work and methods within the customer’s area of operations

The position is characterized by good collaboration with colleagues:

• Social competence
• You should be comfortable working practically and have a strong interest/experience in technology or similar
• Meritorious with knowledge in welding, turning, and milling
• Meritorious with knowledge in vehicle electronics
• At least 2 years of documented experience as a mechanic or technician
• Driver's license B
• Good proficiency in the Office package
• Flexible
• A self-driven attitude and a willingness to perform and learn new things
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
