Our project operations are now looking for a new Project Manager for infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities and Tasks

Project Management Region Network is responsible for planning, leading, and delivering approved facility investments. We are the cohesive force for project teams and are responsible for the projects' economy, timeline, functionality, and quality.

As a Project Manager with us, you are ultimately responsible for realizing set goals and have the overall responsibility for steering projects to the right cost, quality, and time. This includes leading and coordinating projects as well as communicating and representing Vattenfall's interests towards other stakeholders such as authorities, municipalities, and contractors. Travel in the job may occur.

You will lead and coordinate projects with the help of internal and external support. Your main responsibilities include the following:

• Lead, distribute, and follow up on work both internally within the project group and externally through our suppliers and contractors.
• Take overall responsibility within the agreed project framework regarding economy, timeline, functionality, and quality.
• Follow up and act as a role model for safety work and ensure a safe working environment.
• Create and maintain both external and internal relationships with customers, consultants, and authorities, as well as collaborate internally with other functions within the company.
• Communicate and report project status to relevant stakeholders and ensure they have the correct information.
• Create strategies to develop the procurement process together with purchasing.
• Follow forecasts and budget tracking for approved projects.
• Work proactively with calculations and risk management in the project.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in energy or electrical power, or relevant work experience deemed equivalent.
• Several years of experience in project management of regional network projects in the execution phase with documented good results in infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of contract law.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form.
• Driver's license: Class B.

It is advantageous if you have:

• Training in project management and/or electrical safety.
• Experience in project management within infrastructure and development.
• Experience working on the supplier side from a customer perspective.
• Experience in mentorship.

You value relationship building and are used to handling many contacts and different requirements from stakeholders, other network companies, and authorities. With your communication skills, you create clarity for all involved. You easily understand the big picture and are accustomed to planning and prioritizing in your daily work.
