Your new job

Working as a technical preparer means ensuring that production preparations are available for production before the production start. This refers to the use of correct materials, machines, and tools.

The process must be explained with sufficient clarity to ensure that the right quality and good efficiency in the manufacturing are achieved.

To succeed in the role, you will be responsible for making material, supplier, and machine selections as well as time and cost registration, and documenting this in a formal production preparation in the MPS system.

This requires that you enjoy working with planning, communication, and follow-up. In this role, you will have a large inclusive responsibility, with developing career opportunities.

Job responsibilities Here is a selection of job tasks:

• Review technical specifications & clarify technical questions from customers together with sales.
• Be the contact person for customers in ongoing technical matters as agreed with sales.
• Procure externally outsourced processes, incoming materials, components & production tools.
• Perform production preparation in MPS, including CAD basis for the development of photo tools.
• Ensure that article-specific method descriptions are available before production starts.
• Receive & register customer orders, as well as establish manufacturing orders for prototypes,
• Project manage the implementation and quality assurance of new prototypes/products.
• Develop and document production processes and process improvements as needed.

The employment is full-time and starts with a six-month probationary period, with start date according to agreement and good salary and benefits. The workplace has a good culture and the atmosphere in the staff group is very positive.

Working hours: Daytime Monday-Friday.

Workplace: Järfälla, western Stockholm

The company has a collective agreement with Unionen.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field

• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and the sheet metal part of Solid Works, as well as Excel

• Knowledge of the etching process and associated operations

• Experience working in or closely related to production

• Knowledge of Monitor & Lime is an advantage
