We need more energy heroes, and we are now looking for a Department Manager who wants to join the journey towards a fossil-free life! Is that you? In the role of Department Manager, you will be responsible for a department consisting of about 20 employees. The department consists of technicians, preparers, and project managers. The staff is based in Jordbro but operates over a larger geography in the surrounding area. In addition to your own department, you will also be part of the management team for the business area of Networks Stockholm. Together we work to contribute to the continued growth and development of the entire business area.

As a Department Manager, you have overall responsibility for the department's part within one of the business area's major service agreements. This responsibility includes contract knowledge and thus delivery and results responsibility. You will sit with the grid owner and conduct dialogues related to the operational activities. The department primarily works with fault rectification, maintenance, and projects. You are a daily support to your employees in both personnel issues and in the daily operations concerning technical and operational matters.

As a Department Manager, you also work on the development of the department's employees and operations in a business-oriented environment where safety is the highest priority. The work is varied, and you are expected to have close contact with customers, colleagues, and employees.

Examples of Responsibilities and Tasks

• Personnel and resource planning, keeping yourself and the department updated on services and safe working methods, as well as working for further development and follow-up of methods and our delivery
• Be a daily support in technical and operational matters towards the staff
• Be responsible for forecasting, budget, results, and operational follow-up, as well as analysis of the operations with support from a project controller
• Customer contacts and development of existing and new businesses
• Be involved in procurement, tendering, and contract management
• Actively participate in the management team and develop and enable good collaboration within the business area of Networks Stockholm

Requirements

We are looking for someone who contributes with attentiveness, openness, and a strong focus on work environment and safety. You are an engaged leader who has the ability to unite and motivate your employees. You look out for the best interests of the group while also having a business-driven mindset. You are engaged in the daily operations and want to be a support for your employees in technical and operational matters. You are an initiative-taking and communicative person who has a strong personal motivation to support the development of the business, the people within it, and our operations.

We know that you will develop together with us, but we would like you to already have:

• Experience in electrical power, power supply, and power systems
• Experience working as a leader in a role with personnel responsibility
• We prefer that you have experience in customer and supplier relationships, financial follow-up, and contract management
• Experience in the contracting industry is an advantage
• You have good IT and system skills. We also work in a process-driven environment
• At least a completed upper secondary education, preferably higher studies in a relevant field
• You speak and write both Swedish and English fluently
• Driver's license B
