Your Future Challenge

In this role as a Maintenance Engineer in Electrical/Automation, your primary task is to work strategically to develop and optimize the availability and safety of our machinery. This involves responsibility for establishing and implementing long-term maintenance plans as well as monitoring, analyzing, and developing maintenance work. Driving root cause analyses and smaller investments, in collaboration with production and other maintenance categories, is also an important part of the job. A certain financial responsibility is included in the role as you are expected to contribute information regarding needs in the budget and investment process, both short and long term. You will work closely with daily operations and have ongoing contact with external suppliers and contractors.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Planning long-term maintenance efforts and investments from a lifecycle perspective
• Monitoring and documenting completed maintenance efforts
• Management, development, optimization, and troubleshooting of electrical and automated equipment
• Preparation of technical and economic documentation
• Updating technical data in the maintenance system
• Conducting root cause analyses in case of technical failures
• Requirement specification in projects
• Monitoring new technology
• Technical support to the rest of the organization

To Succeed in the Role

You should have a technical university degree with a focus on Electrical/Automation or equivalent. Desired competencies include electrical design, switchgear/control cabinets, frequency converters, and direct-fed drives, drive systems (ABB/Siemens), and process control systems (ABB/Siemens/Valmet). Previous experience in the process industry and/or a similar role is advantageous. We also value training in strategic maintenance, project management, finance, and leadership.

As all maintenance efforts are planned and documented in our maintenance system (IFS), you must have very good computer skills, be comfortable using tools like MS Office, and see the benefits of using various information-bearing systems.

Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, are a requirement.
