Could you be the full-time Subject Matter Expert based in Västerås we’re looking for?

Your future role

Get onboard and apply your expertise in a new cutting-edge field! You’ll report to Magnus Ericsson (Country Business Tools Manager), and work alongside collaborative and driven teammates. In this role, you will be part of the Business Tools team creating data tools for Alstom Sweden.

We’ll look to you to:

  • Take part in team activities, prioritizing and contribute in sprints
  • Take ownership of tasks: design, implementation, documentation and instruct the business
  • Be part of business discussions and suggest best solutions for data requirements
  • Create reports and tools for data analysis
  • Integrate data from different sources
  • Import data into databases
  • Work in different development environments such as Excel VBA, Office 365, MS SQL Server, Azure and Visual Studio

All about you

We value passion and attitude, as well as experience. To be successful in this role, you rely on several of below attributes:

  • Degree in Computer Science
  • Database knowledge (Tables, Relationships, Views, Stored Procedures, SSIS-packages)
  • Strong skills in Excel (VBA programming, formulas), .NET programming – C#
  • Knowledge about Sharepoint and other Microsoft technologies such as Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate
  • Fluency in English; Swedish is very desirable.
