Technology Specialist for Manufacturing Processes

Are you passionate about turning complex challenges into innovative solutions? Do you thrive in fast-paced, high-tech environments? We're looking for a Technology specialist to take the lead in developing and optimizing manufacturing processes that drive performance, efficiency, and sustainability. This position is with one of Scania’s portfolio companies.
What You’ll Do:
As a key part of our process engineering team, you’ll be responsible for the full lifecycle of process development – from concept to implementation and continuous improvement. Your scope will include:
- Defining and developing process requirement specifications
- Designing and integrating new technologies and optimizing equipment usage
- Translating product requirements into scalable, production-ready processes
- Setting process guidelines for technical cleanliness and validation
- Leading Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)
- Driving Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA)
- Creating SOPs, Work Instructions, Process Defect Descriptions, and Reaction Matrices
- Applying lean tools like 5S, Six Sigma, and SPC to ensure process capability
- Conducting Design of Experiments (DOE) to fine-tune production KPIs
- Supporting production with continuous improvement initiatives and technical expertise
What You Bring:
- Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in process development within automated manufacturing (e.g. automotive, semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, or medical devices)
- Expertise in at least one of the following: tightening adhesives, pressing, leakage testing, laser welding
- Strong background in technical documentation, process validation, and test case design
- Proven track record in leading successful process implementation projects
- Familiarity with lean principles, Six Sigma, 5S, and tools like Ishikawa and 8D
- Comfortable in multicultural, high-pressure environments
