Test Engineer in Transmission

AVL in Sweden is now looking for a motivated test engineer within transmission for our engineering department in Haninge. We have customer projects and assignments within all areas of automotive testing, Electric Drive Systems, ICE, Environment and Development.
AVL takes part in a wide range of projects within Hybrid, Electromobility and other areas in the automotive industry. AVL MTC has approximately 200 employees based in Stockholm and Gothenburg. As an engineer at AVL you will work with cutting edge technology in collaboration with experts in the global AVL team and our successful customers. You will be working at our Tech center in Stockholm. You may also be working as a Resident Engineer at our customers in the Stockholm area.
- Handle and operate testing of components for electrified transmissions / powertrains
- Handle customer requests and ensure their satisfaction
- Develop test methodologies
- Ensure data quality
- Participate in and take lead in test object inspections
- Lead the team to perform testing activities
- Develop and improve existing methods and guidelines, and stay up to date with most recent technology findings within the field of drivetrains
- Problem solving and detailed root cause analysis
- Technical support for customer projects as well as internal projects
- Working in international project teams, in cooperation with different AVL departments, in direct contact with our customers
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Mechatronics Engineering or similar experience
- Minimum 4 years of work experience, within testing (component or systems)
- Well organized and enthusiastic team member that can work independently, guide your colleagues, and lead the work forward
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent speaking and excellent writing skills in English (Swedish is meritorious)
- Willing/able to travel
- Driving license
