We are assisting our sister company OMS in recruiting a Continuous Improvement Coordinator

Job Description:

Are you a driven and results-oriented leader passionate about optimizing processes and improving flows? Then the role of Continuous Improvement Coordinator at BENTELER could be the next step in your career!

In this exciting and developing role, you will play a key part in developing and streamlining processes as well as driving continuous improvements throughout the factory. You will work closely with production and in collaboration with managers, team leaders, and colleagues from various parts of the organization to find innovative solutions and implement changes.

As part of Benteler's improvement efforts, you will also have a central role in working with SMED (Single-Minute Exchange of Die) and setup times to streamline machine changes and create more flexible and efficient production flows. This means you will analyze and optimize our processes to reduce downtime and increase capacity.

Your responsibilities include, among others:

• Implementing and ensuring global internal strategies within Lean
• Guiding and training colleagues in Lean methods, tools, and setup time optimization
• Leading and supporting improvement projects focusing on goals, timelines, and methods
• Optimizing machine changes and minimizing setup times to increase production efficiency
• Monitoring and following up on KPIs for continuous improvement
• Supporting layout design and flow optimization to create a more flexible production
• Encouraging the exchange of best practices both within the factory and between global facilities
• Coaching and supporting employees in problem-solving and proactive improvement work
• Being a role model regarding safety and quality at all levels

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone with a strong interest in technology and improvement work, who is accustomed to driving change in production environments. You are a natural leader passionate about developing both people and processes and appreciate good communication and collaboration. You need to have high analytical skills, easily identifying areas for improvement, and a doer mentality that ensures ideas become reality.

To succeed in this role, you need to have:

• Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent work experience
• Several years of experience in similar roles within the manufacturing industry, preferably with a focus on Lean and process development
• Experience working with SMED and setup time optimization
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead improvement projects
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Driver's license (B)
