About the Assignment

As a Laboratory Technician at Mälarenergi, you will work with sampling and analysis of wastewater and sludge to ensure compliance with emission values at the facilities in Västerås, Hallstahammar, and Surahammar. You will handle samples in the lab, conduct analyses, and document the results digitally.

Common Tasks Include:

Taking samples from various facilities and analyzing them according to applicable guidelines.
Preparing chemical solutions and handling samples in the laboratory.
Ensuring correct registration and reporting of analysis results in computer systems.
Coordinating and transporting samples to the lab's drop-off point or external laboratories.

Are You the One We Are Looking For?

We are looking for someone who is meticulous, responsible, and enjoys working both independently and in a team. You have an organizational sense that allows you to handle sampling and analyses with precision. Working in various computer systems is a natural part of your daily routine, and you have at least a high school education - preferably with a focus on environment or chemistry. If you also have post-secondary education in the field, we see it as a great advantage. Since the position involves travel between different facilities, a valid driver's license (B) is required.
