Are you our new electrical designer?

We are looking for a driven engineer with experience in electrical design. As a designer with us, you will primarily work on projects in Sweden but also be involved in export projects as we are an international company. You will therefore also have contact with our manufacturing units and suppliers outside Sweden.

As a person, you are driven and can deliver against a given deadline. Since you will be working in design and project groups, it is required that you are good at communicating and enjoy working in teams. Furthermore, you are a person who likes to solve problems and dares to make decisions. You have a personal commitment and a good ability to effectively drive your projects forward. For you, it is important to achieve results and to meet deadlines with high quality.

Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical design and documentation work according to specifications/descriptions from project managers and customer requirements.
• Establish material specifications and prepare material lists.
• Stay updated on applicable standards and regulations concerning drawings, documentation, execution, and dimensioning, as well as being updated on our manufacturers' and subcontractors' products.
• Assist production staff with your technical knowledge.
• Participate in final testing of electrical equipment at our production units or at the customer.
• In some cases, be project responsible towards our partners and subcontractors, have technical responsibility in the projects, and deliver according to budget.
• Ensure that the schedule and delivery according to the agreed specification are met.

Qualifications:

• We are looking for someone with a relevant engineering degree.
• Understanding of the whole and working long-term.
• Experience in electrical design, medium voltage, and control equipment.
• Preferable if you have:
• Experience in testing/commissioning.
• Participated in substation projects.
• Experience in facility calculations.
• Knowledge of EPLAN and AutoCAD.
• It is an advantage if you have previously worked/collaborated with us in some form and are therefore familiar with us as a company.

The position is a permanent full-time employment. Located in Västerås and start date according to agreement.
