Automation Electrician at MTC Powder Solutions

Do you want to help build the maintenance team of the future – in a brand new, state-of-the-art facility?

We at MTC Powder Solutions in Hallstahammar are now looking for an engaged and solution-oriented Automation Electrician to join our growing maintenance team! We have recently moved into a completely new building with modern machinery, and you will play an important role in shaping the future of technology and maintenance work with us.

Together with our maintenance manager and maintenance mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring that our extensive facility – along with its properties and electrical systems – operates optimally. The tasks range from electrical installations and lighting to property maintenance and improvement work.

Your mission

As an automation electrician with an electrical focus, you will work broadly with both preventive and corrective maintenance within our properties and technical systems. You are our specialist in electrical systems and play a key role in creating a safe, functional, and efficient working environment.

You are expected to be able to drive projects independently and work autonomously with problem-solving and improvement work within electrical and automation.

Examples of tasks:

• Electrical work in a production environment, in collaboration with maintenance mechanics.
• Troubleshooting, repair, and installation of electrical and lighting systems.
• Inspection and maintenance of the property's technical equipment.
• Supervision of the property, handling of fault reports and practical measures.
• Documentation of completed work according to applicable procedures.

Who are you?

You have an electrical engineering background and enjoy varied workdays where you can take responsibility, collaborate, and solve problems. You like to have a practical role where you make a real difference for both people and operations.

We would like you to have:

• Electrical education with ECY certification.
• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing electrical installations within manufacturing and automation.
• Experience in property maintenance and/or electrical work within industrial, construction, or similar environments.
• A good understanding of electrical safety and knowledge of relevant regulations and procedures.
• Driving license B.
