Job Description
You will belong to the section in Stockholm that drives advanced power engineering projects for both their internal projects and external clients, and also supports other divisions within AFRY with their specialist competence in power engineering. They are present throughout AFRY's customer base and work on exciting and technology-intensive assignments where they deliver tailored solutions to meet customer needs across Sweden.

In the role of Power Engineer at AFRY, you will play an important role in their organization and their power engineering projects. At AFRY, you will have the opportunity to work as a consultant for many of their exciting clients in the region, as well as be part of projects driven in-house. You will work on various types of projects and assignments, which will be guided by your expertise, the client's needs, and your personal ambition and development plan. Among other things, you will have the opportunity to work with:

• Preparation of request documents for low, medium, and high voltage switchgear as well as UPS and backup power.
• Detail design of high and medium voltage within industrial and energy facilities.
• Investigations and feasibility studies.
• Technical consulting.
• Network calculations and selective plans.

You will also have the opportunity to act as a project leader, which means having your own client and budget responsibility in projects. There are also good opportunities to work in other power engineering-related areas such as relay testing, measurement and analysis of power quality, and inspection.

Qualifications

We hope you also recognize yourself in the following:

• Post-secondary education in power engineering or electrical engineering, or equivalent knowledge gained from practical work experience.
• Several years of work experience in power engineering, preferably with previous experience as a designer or project manager.
• Experience with contract law and AMA, AutoCAD, and familiarity with report writing.
• Have a B driver's license.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as this is required in dialogue with both clients and colleagues.

If you have also worked in Febdok or other network calculation programs or have practical experience as a service/industrial electrician, that is a bonus, but not a requirement.

Interviews and selection will be ongoing during the application period. The position is security classified and subject to defense secrecy. Swedish citizenship and a successful security clearance are required for employment.

The assignment is part of our personnel leasing. You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant at AFRY for 12 months, working time. The intention is that you will eventually be able to be employed directly by them, provided that all parties are satisfied with the collaboration.
