Operations Engineer at the Traffic Administration

At the Traffic Administration, you will work with strong brands such as SL, Waxholmsbolaget, Public Transport in Region Stockholm, and the Tram Museum.

About the Role

You will have the operational responsibility to ensure that our rail time coordination functions according to our maintenance agreements and develops over time. You will interact with colleagues in the team, administrators, and various internal safety functions. You will drive communication and collaboration with our maintenance contractors and build relationships.

Some examples of job tasks:

• Operationally coordinate rail time requests
• Problem-solving related to technology, safety, and joint planning
• Build relationships with maintenance contractors through information efforts, support, and improvement proposals
• Follow up and develop our processes and operational goals.
• Anchor and develop routines together with administrators and safety functions

To thrive and succeed in the role, you need:

It is important that you enjoy having many points of contact and can sort between what is important in the short and slightly longer term. You need to be able to work with problem-solving and create your own paths forward through collaboration within the team and knowledge of technology and rail work.

Requirements:

• Post-secondary technical education
• Experience working with traffic management or maintenance in rail environments
• Experience working in large complex organizations

Meritorious:

• Education and knowledge in high voltage
• Competence in TRI
• Experience in a supervisory position
