Are you a structured and technically curious person with experience in electrical and telecommunication installations in larger construction and infrastructure projects? Then you might be our next Design Manager!

We are now looking for a Design Manager MEP who wants to drive the coordination of installations in some of Sweden's most complex and socially important projects – such as subways, railways, terminals, and other public infrastructure.

As a Design Manager, you will be the hub for technical disciplines such as electrical, telecommunication, cabling, and security systems, and you will be responsible for coordinating between consultants, contractors, and clients throughout the design process.

💡 Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the design of electrical and telecommunication installations in infrastructure and construction projects
• Be responsible for deliveries at various stages: system documentation, tender documents, construction documents
• Act as the technical contact person for clients, contractors, and internal teams
• Identify and manage technical risks and interfaces
• Follow up on timelines, quality, and costs related to installation technology
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards (e.g., AMA EL, BBR, ABK)

🛠 We are looking for someone who:

• Has a technical education such as STI engineer, university engineer, or equivalent in electrical/installation
• Has at least 5 years of experience in design management or a similar role within MEP
• Is used to working in multidisciplinary projects, preferably within subways, railways, or other infrastructure
• Has good knowledge of AMA EL, BAS-P/U, ABK, Revit/MagiCAD, and relevant regulations
• Communicates fluently in Swedish and preferably English
• Is structured, driven, and enjoys taking responsibility
