We are looking for a team leader for the economic section

The Individual & Family Care in Värnamo Municipality is part of the Citizen Administration, where we work within various types of authority exercise, open care, HVB, as well as labor market, integration, and leisure.

In the economic section, there are 10 social workers, 1 budget and debt advisor, 1 team leader, and 1 section manager. The section includes work with social assistance, domestic violence, budget, and debt counseling. We are looking for someone interested in working with social assistance.

Job Responsibilities

In the role of team leader, your main task is to plan and support the social workers in their daily work both in social assistance and domestic violence. You play a key role in ensuring that the section and the group's work runs smoothly. You coach, support, and lead the group's daily work, collaborate internally and externally, and participate in development work both within the section and the administration. You make decisions in accordance with the delegation order, present cases in the social committee and in the administrative court.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or equivalent higher education. You have extensive experience in the field of social assistance and domestic violence.

We expect you to have knowledge of and interest in financial assistance and social work as well as domestic violence. You communicate clearly and have good collaboration skills. You can make quick decisions and are flexible. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

A driver's license is required.
