Haganässkolan is located in Älmhult in Småland, right near the border to Skåne. We have about 1150 students and offer a variety of programs, including college preparatory and vocational programs, introductory programs, IB programs, SFI, adult education, and adapted upper secondary school.

Haganässkolan is more than just a school. We have both a gym, sports facility, and swimming pool. Our goal is to provide our students with knowledge, courage, and strength to shape and meet a better future.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a high school teacher, you will plan, implement, and evaluate your subject's teaching and participate in development work and collaborate on courses. The role includes typical teacher tasks such as lesson planning, grading, co-assessment, and mentorship.

You will be part of a base group together with other teachers who focus on students' development and goal fulfillment. In the base group, you will work on planning, implementing, evaluating, and developing teaching based on the organization's goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed high school teacher in the subjects of history and social studies. As a person, you are flexible, creative, and engaged, take responsibility, and share your knowledge with others. You also have a good ability to collaborate and communicate with students, parents, and staff. We place great importance on personal suitability, where the ability to collaborate with students and colleagues is of utmost importance.
