Hagaskolan is a grades 7-9 school located in central Alvesta. For the academic year 24/25, we have approximately 430 students divided into three working teams. We are 60 employees in various roles working to provide students with an educational school day in a safe environment. The school has a high teacher density and has seen positive development in our students' results over the past few years.

The school's student health team consists, in addition to school management, of a special educator, study and career counselor, school nurse, and counselor. Each of our working teams has its own special educator and a student coordinator who actively works on safety and study peace during lessons and in the corridors.

With the guiding words of knowledge, safety, and well-being, we work purposefully and curiously to develop our operations. We learn from other schools' work and implement research into our teaching methods.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a teacher of German, you will be connected to one of the school's three working teams, where your primary collaboration will focus on the students' knowledge development. You will also be part of a subject group for collegial learning with colleagues who have set aside time to work on developing teaching. The role also includes mentorship in a class together with at least one colleague.

You actively contribute to collegial learning in various forums based on your expertise and develop your subjects. You view the computer as a natural and enriching working tool, both in your own work and in that of the students. You have a good understanding of the school's governing documents and solid knowledge of pedagogical documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS

The basic requirement is that you hold a teaching license with authorization to teach in primary school in the subject of German. We prefer that you are also authorized to teach at least one additional subject.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability. We also value that you have good collaboration skills, are social, and can easily build good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

You should be structured, clear, and consistent with the ability to take initiatives with a large portion of engagement. You see the school's diversity as an opportunity, as well as the importance of students' influence over their knowledge development.
