About Skatelöv School

Skatelöv School is a F-6 school with approximately 190 students. The school is located in Grimslöv, close to meadows, forests, and lakes. The staff works in teams, and the after-school program is integrated into the school.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a teacher for grades 1-3 at Skatelöv School. You will teach and be part of a team in the school's lower grades, collaboratively developing strategies to help students grow and succeed. Mentorship for part of the class is included in the position.

At Skatelöv School, we work with co-teaching, which allows for close collaboration with colleagues. There is also close cooperation with various professionals in student health.

As a teacher, you will work according to the Swedish National Agency for Education's governing documents with clear goals and stimulate students to develop based on their own abilities. You are a clear leader and create good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You want to drive pedagogical development and utilize current research in your work. You plan, follow up on teaching, and analyze and assess results.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a qualified teacher for grades 1-3.

You should have:

  • A genuine interest in children's learning.
  • The ability to see and meet each student based on their circumstances.
  • A professional approach.
  • A flexible working style and the ability to collaborate in teams and within the unit.
  • A warm and open personality along with the ability to set boundaries.
  • An interest in working with digital tools.
  • The ability to create a positive working atmosphere with engagement, curiosity, and safety in the group.

You also have a positive attitude and contribute to the development of the organization.

Even if you are studying to become a teacher for the relevant grades, have experience working as a teacher in lower grades, or have another educational background, you may be considered for employment. However, a teaching license with authorization to teach in primary school is required for permanent employment.
