After-school teacher/Teacher with a focus on after-school care at Virestad School and After-school Care.

Virestads Friskola is a non-profit economic association that operates two preschools, two after-school care centers, and two schools (F-4 and F-6) distributed across two units.

The unit in Virestad is located about 20 kilometers outside Älmhult, and the unit in Bråthult is just outside Älmhult. Both of our units are beautifully situated near forests and meadows, and we utilize our surroundings in our educational explorations. Currently, we have over 180 children enrolled in our activities. Our after-school care is growing, and for the next school year, we will welcome a record number of new students.

As an after-school teacher in our organization, you will have many strings to your bow and a great responsibility. The task is to work with colleagues on the operations and development of our after-school care. In addition to working in after-school care, the position is combined with teaching in the school based on your qualifications and interests. Suitable qualifications include home economics, music, and crafts. However, all qualifications are of interest!

We have a unique setup for our after-school care with fixed teaching groups. This is something we are proud of and would love to tell you more about. During the school year, we have worked on opening a new department for the older after-school children as well as the pedagogical development for the entire after-school care. The operation has a high satisfaction index among children and parents. In this positive spirit, we take a step forward to continue developing our operations. We are looking for someone with a pedagogical education and a few years of experience. You are calm, secure, and communicative, and you work according to a relational perspective. It is also important that you find your place among colleagues in both after-school care and the school. You need to be socially competent, driven, and responsible.
