About Skatelövsskolan

Skatelövsskolan is a F-6 school with approximately 190 students. The school is located in Grimslöv, close to meadows, forests, and lakes. The staff works in teams, and the after-school program is integrated into the school.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a teacher for grades 4-6 at Skatelövsskolan. You will teach and be part of a team in the school's middle stage, working together to develop strategies to help students grow and succeed. Mentorship for part of the class is included in the position.

At Skatelövsskolan, we work with co-teaching, which allows for close collaboration with colleagues. There is also close cooperation with various professionals in student health.

As a teacher, you will work according to the Swedish National Agency for Education's governing documents with clear goals and stimulate students to develop based on their own abilities. You are a clear leader and create good relationships with both students, colleagues, and guardians. You want to drive pedagogical development and use current research, applying it in your work. You plan and follow up on teaching, analyzing and assessing the results.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a qualified teacher for grades 4-6 with broad competence and certification in at least Swedish and social studies.

You should have:

• A genuine interest in children's learning.
• The ability to see and meet each student based on their circumstances.
• A professional approach.
• A flexible working style and the ability to collaborate in teams and within the unit.
• A warm and open personality with the ability to set boundaries.
• An interest in working with digital tools.
• The ability to create a good working climate with engagement, curiosity, and safety in the group.

You also have a positive attitude and contribute to the development of the organization.

Even if you are studying to become a teacher for the relevant grades, have experience working as a teacher in middle school, or have another educational background, you may be considered for employment. However, a teaching license with certification to teach in primary school is required for permanent employment.
