At SpeakCharlie, we are focused on improving the integration of international talents in Sweden. We do this by offering tailored courses in the Swedish language and Swedish culture. Right now, we are strengthening our education team in Växjö and are looking for someone who wants to use and develop their skills in pedagogy, rhetoric, and leadership.

About the role As a language coach with us, you will educate and coach international talent in the Swedish language while guiding them through everyday and work life in Sweden in an engaging and creative way. We offer both group and private courses through classroom-based teaching. One or more times a week, you will meet your participants at our clients' offices and help them learn Swedish using our tailored materials.

A standard course with us consists of 16 lessons of 90 minutes each. Requests for new courses are easily communicated through our course portal, where you can easily express interest in the courses that suit you and that you can commit to from start to finish.

The work is flexible and hourly-based, making it ideal for those who have another primary occupation. To clarify, this is therefore a part-time job where working hours are usually Monday to Friday between 8 AM and 5 PM. As a start, we usually recommend beginning with two courses to get into the role effectively, which means 2-4 lessons per week.

Who are you? We are looking for someone who has a passion for teaching and a curious approach. You have good problem-solving skills and enjoy being creative in your work. We see that you are a native Swedish speaker and have very good knowledge of English.

It is an advantage to have completed or ongoing education in fields such as linguistics, languages, pedagogy, or rhetoric. If you have experience living and/or traveling in different countries and have studied multiple languages yourself, it will be beneficial for the position.
