Hjortsbergskolan F-6 is a school with about 270 students in grades F-6. It is located in central Ljungby. Our after-school program has 3 departments with about 120 children. Next to the F-6 school is the newly built Hjortsbergskolan 7-9, which has been in operation since the autumn term of 2024. We have fresh facilities with a large sports hall and are close to a swimming pool and ice rink, while also being near nature. Hjortsbergskolan is a multicultural school where students learn to take responsibility and collaborate with others. Language development is a central goal for us.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The job responsibilities include planning the activities together with the team based on the curriculum, following up and evaluating the work. It also includes participating in development processes aimed at improving the services we offer.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are now looking for you who are a qualified leisure educator or a primary teacher with a focus on after-school care and therefore have a license for after-school care. You are well acquainted with our governing documents and feel secure in your professional role. You also have a good ability to organize the activities and work for a high quality in the after-school program.

You are welcome to have experience from previous work in after-school care/school, especially in a multicultural school.

You must be able to work collaboratively with others, but also independently, have a good approach, and preferably be familiar with and have a low-affect approach. You have a good value base where you work according to equal value for all, and everyone’s equal right to a rich school and leisure experience. You are also positive, solution-oriented, engaged, and flexible. The position is subject to the necessary decisions being made. Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis.
