Haganässkolan is located in Älmhult in Småland, right near the border to Skåne. We have approximately 1150 students and offer many different educational programs, including university preparatory and vocational programs, introductory programs, IB programs, SFI, adult education, and adapted upper secondary school.

Haganässkolan is more than just a school. We have a gym, sports facility, and swimming pool. Our goal is to provide our students with the knowledge, courage, and strength to shape and meet a better future.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are expanding and continue to actively invest in being the region's best industrial education. You will work alongside our two current industrial teachers to teach both high school students and adults in the adult education program within the industrial technology program. At Haganässkolan, we have students in both CNC and welding.

Together, you will teach the more theoretical program common subjects and levels within industry and specialization subjects and levels.

We educate according to the national vocational packages within adult education.

Within high school, we have apprenticeship training (GLA), while in adult education, there is at least 15% APL where collaboration with local and to some extent regional industries is an important part, and where monitoring of students' work is central.

Mentorship within high school is included for industrial students.

You plan, implement, grade students, and evaluate your teaching.

You take the initiative to develop your teaching and your own competence within the relevant subjects.

The position is a seasonal employment within adult education.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience from the industry and several years of work within workshop/industry is important. A completed vocational teacher education is also an advantage.

You master the basics of various welding methods and/or the basics of machining techniques and CNC with relevant software. Experience in workshop work is an advantage.

You are fluent in Swedish.

A B driver's license is required to effectively conduct APL/GLA visits.
