JOB DESCRIPTION

Kungsmadskolan is a municipal high school with about 1400 students, offering both vocational and university preparatory programs. We are now looking for someone who wants to work as a vocational teacher in the Industrial Technology program with a focus on welding. The position involves teaching core courses in the program as well as possibly some parts of the Technology program courses. You will be part of a team where you, together with your colleagues, contribute to the development of the program.

The position also includes commissioned training directly for the manufacturing industry, as part of the job will be located at Epic Innovation & Technology Center (goepic.se). At Epic, high school, university, and industry collaborate to create attraction for education in technology and to develop employees' skills within the industry. Courses offered can be at both basic and advanced levels, including Reading Drawings, Measurement Technology, Production Economics, Maintenance, Robotics, Welding Technology, and more. This will be specified based on your qualifications and future visions for continued development.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a vocational teacher degree. You should have good skills and be able to teach in MAG/TIG/MMA methods as well as have experience with welding tests. You should also be able to teach reading drawings and make assessments according to ISO 5817. Experience with robots is a merit.

You who apply for the position are proactive and easily adaptable to the needs of the organization. You are engaged and interested in the students' development, both in their knowledge and their social development. You have the ability to create good relationships with students and colleagues.

Experience working in high school is a merit, but the decisive factor for who we hire will be your personality and ability to build relationships with our youth.
