JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

At Centrumskolan, we have grades from preschool to grade 6 with 320 students. Each grade has two classes, and each grade level works closely together in a team teaching model. We focus on our development areas: shared understanding in assessment and planning, instructional design, and language development in all subjects. The school has a student health team consisting of special educators, special teachers, a counselor, and a school nurse.

As a staff member at the school, you will be part of the F-3 team as well as a grade-level team where you will work together to drive and develop the work towards our common goals. Every student should have the opportunity to develop based on their conditions and feel confident in their abilities to become their best selves. You who are applying are a preschool teacher or qualified to teach in grades F-3.

The position is part of a team teaching model where you will teach and be a class teacher together with other teachers in the grade level. Together with your colleagues, you will plan, implement, assess, and evaluate the teaching in accordance with our governing documents, as well as based on collegial learning. You always have the student's learning in focus based on our joint work with shared understanding around pedagogical, social, and physically accessible learning environments. It is important to build trusting relationships and be curious about our students' experiences, interests, development, and learning. You will create good relationships with guardians to promote cooperation between school and home.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a degree/teaching certification as a preschool teacher or is qualified to teach in grades F-3. You exercise clear leadership and work systematically based on current governing documents and a professional approach.
