JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Vederslöv School is a charming F-6 school with just over 165 students, only a 20-minute commute from Växjö. The school is located in a quiet area with a fantastic setting close to nature, forests, meadows, and water. The school has a gymnasium and a wonderful playground that invites play, games, and creativity. We work to maintain the child's desire to learn and provide students with opportunities for influence.
In your role as a teacher, you will share mentorship with a colleague in a 5th-grade class and teach mathematics, Swedish, and NO in two 5th-grade classes.
With commitment and enthusiasm, you create a safe learning environment based on mutual respect and collaboration, through good leadership both in and out of the classroom. Teaching is designed based on the curriculum's goals, where planning, preparation, implementation, and evaluation are important cornerstones. Through dialogue, you create good relationships characterized by mutual respect and trust. In your role, you keep yourself updated on events in the world and the everyday lives of young people. Of course, you use digital technology in teaching and as tools for information, planning, communication, and reporting.
We strive for collegial learning where you, in close collaboration with your colleagues, develop the operations. Together, you work to ensure that all students thrive and develop based on their individual conditions.
The position is 75%.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you with a teaching license qualified to teach in grades 4-6 in the subjects of mathematics, Swedish, and NO in primary school. You also need to have good oral and written skills in Swedish and the ability to adapt teaching based on each student's conditions. Your lessons are characterized by clear expectations, a calm working environment, and a desire to learn. You should have a good ability to teach children in need of special support and the ability to help students handle conflicts that arise. Furthermore, you are a confident educational leader with the ability to critically analyze your own and the team's working methods for continuous development.
A driver's license and access to a car are an advantage.
