JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you have positive and high expectations for students and adapt your teaching based on all students' levels, focusing on the student's best interests? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

Vederslöv School is a charming F-6 school with just over 165 students, only a 20-minute commute from Växjö. The school is located in a quiet area with a fantastic setting close to nature, forests, meadows, and water. The school has a gymnasium and a wonderful playground that invites play, games, and creativity. We work to maintain the child's desire to learn and provide students with opportunities for influence.

In your role as a teacher, you will share mentorship with a colleague in a 4th grade and teach Swedish and SO in two 4th grades.

With commitment and enthusiasm, you create a safe learning environment based on mutual respect and collaboration, through good leadership both inside and outside the classroom. The teaching is designed based on the curriculum's goals, where planning, preparation, implementation, and evaluation are important cornerstones. Through dialogue, you create good relationships characterized by mutual respect and a trusting approach. In your role, you stay updated on events in the world and the everyday lives of young people. Of course, you use digital technology in teaching and as tools for information, planning, communication, and reporting.

We strive for collegial learning where you, in close collaboration with your colleagues, develop the operations. Together, you work to ensure that all students thrive and develop based on their individual circumstances.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a teaching license authorized to teach in grades 4-6 in the subjects of Swedish and SO in primary school. You also need to have good oral and written skills in Swedish and the ability to adapt teaching based on each student's circumstances. Your lessons are characterized by clear expectations, a conducive learning environment, and a desire to learn. You should have a good ability to teach children in need of special support and the ability to help students manage conflicts that arise.

Furthermore, you are a confident pedagogical leader with the ability to critically analyze your own and the team's working methods for continuous development.

A driver's license and access to a car is an advantage.
