JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an employee at Centrumskolan, you will be part of the 4-6 work team as well as a grade team where you will work together to drive and develop the work in the grade towards our common goals. Every student should have the opportunity to develop based on their conditions and feel confident in their own abilities, developing into their best selves. You who are applying should be qualified to teach in grades 4-6, with a focus on Swedish/Swedish as a second language and preferably more subjects. The position is part of a team teaching model where you will teach and be a class teacher together with other teachers in the grade team.

Together with your colleagues, you will plan, implement, assess, and evaluate teaching in accordance with our governing documents but also based on collegial learning. You always have the student's learning in focus based on our joint work with a shared understanding of a pedagogical, social, and physically accessible learning environment. It is important for us to build trusting relationships and be curious about our students' experiences, interests, development, and learning. You will create good relationships with guardians to promote collaboration between school and home.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a degree/teaching certification and is qualified to teach in grades 4-6, with a focus on Swedish/Swedish as a second language and preferably in more subjects. You exercise clear leadership and work systematically based on applicable governing documents and a professional approach.

For a first teacher position to be relevant, you need to have significant competence and experience in working with language development. You also need to have experience leading colleagues.
