The newly built Hjortsberg School for grades 7-9 is centrally located in Ljungby, with green areas nearby and in close proximity to a primary school and after-school care. Our facilities also include access to a sports hall. The new 7-9 school has its own kitchen, dining hall, and five home rooms. The school is designed to accommodate 5 parallel classes with up to 375 students, but will start with 4 parallel classes from autumn 2024.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who wants to teach Mathematics and Science (Chemistry/Technology/Physics/Biology) in grades 7-9 at Hjortsberg School. As a teacher in Science and Mathematics, you will plan, implement, and follow up on teaching. You will be part of a work team and collaborate with other teachers in the common work around the students. Shared mentorship is included in the position. The position may potentially be combined with another subject, depending on skills and needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

You should be an educated teacher in Science/Mathematics for grades 7-9 and have a teaching license. Great emphasis is placed on collaboration skills and the ability to meet students in groups and individually. A teaching license is required for permanent employment.
