In August 2023, Prolympia opened a newly built sports school for grades 7-9 in Arenastaden. By combining sports and health with knowledge and security, we offer the best conditions for a successful school experience. The school is aimed at all sports-interested youth in grades 7-9 who have the opportunity to combine school with sports in the best possible environment. The school operates in close collaboration with various sports clubs in Växjö.

Job Responsibilities

As a special education teacher, you are responsible for students who need special support. You assist mentors and teachers in their work to include students and ensure that each class is followed up in our student health meetings. You have an overview and follow up on students in need of special support and participate in development discussions as needed. The school has a clear process regarding student health that you will follow. You will be part of our student health team that works preventively and promotes health. Our student health team participates in our team meetings to serve as a sounding board for student issues. Special education teachers are responsible for our holiday schools together with relevant teachers who have students with incomplete assignments.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a special education degree and is qualified to teach at the secondary level. A background check regarding work in schools and preschools is required for employment.
