Prolympia Växjö is hiring a Spanish teacher!

In August 2023, Prolympia opened a newly built sports school for grades 7-9 in Arenastaden. By combining sports and health with knowledge and security, we offer the best conditions for a successful school experience. The school is aimed at all sports-interested youth in grades 7-9 who have the opportunity to combine school with sports in the best possible environment. The school operates in close collaboration with various sports clubs in Växjö.

In your daily work, you also have the ability to create trusting relationships with both students and their guardians as well as colleagues.

Job Responsibilities

In your role as a teacher, you will teach Spanish at the middle school level. In your daily work, you will plan lessons, prepare classes, and document students' progress. You actively work to stimulate all students to develop their knowledge and have the ability to adapt teaching to promote learning and good academic results. You will be part of a team where you can exchange experiences, thoughts, and ideas that can improve your teaching and contribute to school development. In addition to teaching, you will also serve as a mentor for a class. The position is 80-100% depending on your experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree from a teacher education program with a teaching license and qualifications to teach Spanish. It is an advantage if you also have qualifications in another subject.

For employment, a background check regarding work in schools and preschools is required.
