JOB DESCRIPTION

Hovshagaskolan is a primary school (F-6) with 335 students located in Hovshaga, Växjö. There are good opportunities for bike paths and public transport to the city center. Surrounding the school are plenty of green areas and forests. The school consists of two parallel classes in each grade that work closely together and three after-school departments. Hovshagaskolan has a large playground that invites varied activities. Our after-school teachers offer planned break activities every day, which are highly appreciated. The break activities are part of our proactive work to create safety and well-being at school.

We are now looking for an engaged, reflective, and driven teacher for Hovshagaskolan. The position is aimed at grade 3, where you, together with your colleagues, are responsible for creating structured and varied teaching. At the school, we work in teams where three teachers are responsible for one grade. Together with your colleagues, you will plan and evaluate the teaching based on an analysis of student results. You actively support and motivate your students in their development, both academically and socially. You contribute to creating good learning environments so that students feel curiosity and a desire to learn.

All teachers participate in collegial learning where teaching is the focus based on experience exchange and research, linked to the school's development area. The school's student health team works health-promoting, preventive, and supportive in close collaboration with teachers and other staff based on the students' best interests.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are licensed and qualified to teach in primary school.

We are also looking for you:
• Who has a relational approach and the ability to meet each student based on their circumstances
• Who is solution-oriented and has good collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt teaching based on analysis, so that all students develop and achieve good results
You create a good study environment in your teaching groups to achieve high goal fulfillment and are confident in your leadership. We place great emphasis on personal suitability!
