International English School (IES) is a leading independent school group with academic results far above average and a diverse and energetic staff. Teaching is in both Swedish and English, and the hallways are bilingual. The language of meetings and communication amongst the staff is English.

International English School Växjö is a F-9 school with an associated after-school program. Our school is growing, and for the school year 25/26, we have approximately 300 students. The school opened in August 2022.

IES Växjö is a bilingual school. Therefore, you need to be able to communicate with colleagues, students, and their families in both Swedish and English, including in writing.

Even if you are studying to become a teacher, you can be considered for employment. For a permanent position, a teaching license with the ability to teach is required.

Your tasks include:

• Teaching in small classes of about 15 - 16 students.
• Planning lessons in collaboration within the subject team.
• Mentorship for 15 - 16 students with oversight of attendance, grades, and school situation.

Great importance is placed on personal qualities and the ability to collaborate.
