We are now looking for an accounting-savvy Financial Manager for Zehnder, who will be responsible for accounting and financial follow-up, as well as reporting for the Nordic operations. You will ensure the quality of the accounting in dialogue with the Shared Service Center in Poland, follow up on budgets and forecasts with stakeholders in the business, and analyze the operations together with Group Business Controlling. You will become a key person in the company with a clear mandate for both accounting and follow-up. As a Financial Manager, you will ensure the company's financial closing and be the financial counterpart that the organization needs. As you develop and understand the role, the focus on controlling will increase.

The position is located at the Nordic headquarters in Motala, and you will report to the CFO of the Clean Air Solutions Division.

Main tasks and responsibilities as Financial Manager:

• Ensure the quality of accounting for the Nordic operations from the Shared Service Center in Poland
• Accruals, reconciliations, more complex accounting issues, supplier approvals
• A/R collection process including cash collection
• Monthly and annual financial closing and group reporting to the parent company in Switzerland
• Budget and forecast follow-up in dialogue with all parts of the value chain – focus on controlling tasks will gradually increase in the employment.
• Prepare and submit declarations for VAT, taxes, and employer contributions
• Be the contact person during audits and ensure that the company meets all financial requirements
• Responsible for internal control in accordance with group requirements
• Management support and ad-hoc analysis
• Participate in change and development projects regarding processes and system support

Qualifications and experience

We are looking for someone with at least five years of experience in responsibility for financial closing and follow-up, preferably within a manufacturing or related industry. You have a post-secondary education and can express yourself fluently in both spoken and written English and Swedish. You are accustomed to navigating larger systems and understand the financial flows in the systems you work with.

Previous experience in international organizations, SAP, or manufacturing companies is highly desirable.
