Our career coaches usually have a background in behavioral sciences with very good knowledge of rehabilitation and labor market issues, complemented by our study and career counselors. We have extensive experience working with people who are somewhat distant from the labor market and need support, motivational efforts, and increased knowledge of how the labor market works to take the step back into working life. The career coaches also have established networks and contacts with local and nationwide companies.

Job Responsibilities

You will work within the framework of Rusta and Matcha.

In your work, you will meet participants on their way into or back to working life. Through guidance, individual conversations, and workshops/webinars, you will motivate and provide career guidance to the participants. You will practically assist with profiling the participant by, for example, creating excellent application documents, interview training, and reviewing social media such as LinkedIn. A major focus will be on matching participants with employers. A significant part of the role will therefore involve processing and building networks with companies, organizations, and educational providers. Your goal is for job seekers to enter employment or start studies as soon as possible.

We want you to be passionate about service and people, as you will meet all types of individuals from different backgrounds who need help and support to move forward in their job search. You have the ability to create and develop relationships with people, both participants and employers. We would like you to have a good local and regional network within the business community in Linköping and surrounding areas.

An important part of the job is documenting your coaching meetings and reporting to the Employment Service. We consider it highly meritorious if you have documented experience in career coaching, recruitment, or study and career guidance.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION

Education: University education of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits according to the previous system).

Work experience: At least two (2) years of work experience equivalent to full-time. Part-time can also be accepted if the total working time corresponds to full-time over two (2) years.

Alternatively

Education: At least one (1) year of full-time studies at the post-secondary level with at least a passing grade.

Work experience: At least three (3) years of work experience equivalent to full-time in one or more of the following professions or tasks: Management with personnel responsibility, recruitment, transition work for job seekers, study and career guidance, handling personnel issues (not solely personnel administration), work with labor and labor market issues, work with social and group psychology, career guidance. Part-time can also be accepted if the total working time corresponds to full-time over three (3) years.

Meritorious

Experience in career coaching, recruitment, or study and career guidance.

Experience in creating contacts with employers.

Competence in behavioral sciences or similar.

Competence as a supervisor/team leader.

Other language skills in addition to very good Swedish and English, such as Arabic.

Very good skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
