Your Role

Do you want to be part of a digitalization journey and drive and develop Saab's accounting and closing processes? We are looking for reinforcement in our accounting team, Accounting and Closing Processes, which is part of Accounting Services, responsible for accounting, closing, financial systems, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

As an accountant at Saab's Shared Services Center, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements, ensuring accurate reporting, and providing valuable support in accounting and system issues to our business areas. Your main points of contact will consist of both colleagues within the Shared Services Center and business controllers in Saab's business areas. The position is very varied, with part of it consisting of recurring work with closing and reporting, but large parts involve participation in various improvement projects, investigations, troubleshooting, and support to the business areas.

You will play an important role in our ongoing digital development work and drive change within financial processes, both in the short and long term. The work involves using systems such as U4 Agresso for closing and Hyperion/HFM for reporting, and we hope you have experience or an interest in developing within system-related issues. There are good opportunities to shape your own niche in the department based on interest and ability, as the work is very varied.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a degree in economics or equivalent and several years of experience in qualified accounting and finance work, preferably from a larger company in the maintenance or manufacturing industry. It is also advantageous if you have experience in project accounting and project follow-up.

• Solid knowledge in accounting.
• A structured and methodical approach while being solution-oriented.
• You are service-oriented and have the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Interest, and preferably experience, in development and digitalization.

The position involves close collaboration with the business areas and other departments within Accounting Services, which requires a good ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may involve requirements for certain citizenship.
