Purchasing Digital Development Manager

The Purchasing Department is facing exciting changes with a focus on digitalization and business development, in response to increased demands and a faster pace of change. As part of the Purchasing Excellence department at Toyota Material Handling Manufacturing Sweden AB, you will play a key role in this transformation as our future Purchasing Digital Development Manager. By analyzing the current situation, identifying and implementing improvements, and using advanced tools and technologies, you will contribute to achieving our goals and creating value for the entire organization.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement digital improvements to increase value creation within purchasing.
• Prepare decision-making materials related to digitalization initiatives.
• Lead the implementation of digitalization initiatives.
• Identify integration opportunities for purchasing data across various systems.
• Review data quality and ensure optimal data governance.
• Implement a data governance model and support the organization in data management.
• Work with database models and improve analytical capabilities.
• Develop PowerBi reports and support the organization in using PowerBi.
• Identify and implement opportunities for increased automation.
• Explore and implement AI opportunities within purchasing together with IS/IT.
• Visualize data in a user-friendly way to facilitate decision-making and increase insights.

Your Profile

For the position of Purchasing Digital Development Manager, we are looking for someone who has/is:

• Relevant academic education at the university level.
• Education in computer science, databases, and information technology is an advantage.
• At least 5 years of experience in process improvements and/or digitalization.
• Experience in system development related to purchasing is a plus but not a requirement.
• Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both written and spoken, is a requirement.
• Experience in database management and digital tools, including PowerBi, is highly desirable.
• Strong ability to visualize data in a user-friendly manner.
• Analytical and creative skills as well as a willingness to change.
• A strong passion for data and its applications.
