Social Workers for the Reception for Victims of Violence (MFV)

Your new job

At MFV, we focus on the citizen and work purposefully to develop the operations. Important perspectives for us are to highlight the consequences of violence, both for adults and children, and to provide hope that it is possible to break free from violence. The starting point for the work is the Social Services Act and the special responsibility to offer support and help to victims of violence to change their situation. The current positions are within the authority part of the unit.

Your qualifications

You are a trained social worker. If you have experience working with authority exercises in the field of victims of violence, it is an advantage. Experience within social services with similar tasks is also an advantage. You find it easy to collaborate with various stakeholders. We also place great emphasis on personal suitability. A driver's license (B) is a requirement for the position.

Welcome to us

MFV is a service within social services for individuals who are or have been subjected to violence by relatives. Relatives can be a partner, ex-partner, family member, or other relative. We cater to individuals over 18 years old. MFV is divided into reception, investigation group, and outpatient group, and you can find us in Sofiahuset.

We offer you as an employee a 7-hour workday with working hours scheduled during the day from Monday to Friday, individual salary setting, and supervision. You will have close collaboration with the unit's other first social workers and the unit manager.

Good to know

We are looking for two social workers, full-time, with immediate start or by agreement. Working hours are scheduled during the day from Monday to Friday.

In your application, we want a CV as well as attached diploma and current employment certificates. All your employment must be verifiable with certificates showing your position and the extent of your work. Even if you already work with us, you need to present diplomas and employment certificates for positions you have held outside the municipality. Applications that do not meet this will not be prioritized. We use ongoing selection.

Before employment is finalized, a background check will be conducted where you must present an extract from the criminal record. In this recruitment, the extract referred to is titled “Check your own information in the criminal record”.
