Occupational Therapist for the Rehabilitation Unit – Support and Service (FSS) - Hässleholm

The Health and Medical Care Department is responsible for services within home care and rehabilitation. The services are performed by nurses, nursing assistants, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists, who also delegate to care staff in other operational areas based on their profession.

We are now looking for a licensed occupational therapist for our Rehabilitation Unit, focusing on the Support and Service (FSS) operations.

About the position

As an occupational therapist with us, you will work with individuals who have disabilities, aiming to create increased participation, structure, and meaning in their everyday and work lives.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Assessment of activity ability (ADL) and cognitive functions.
  • Support in time management, activity balance, and structure in everyday life.
  • Training, rehabilitation, and prescription of assistive devices.
  • Working in the digital system Mina Planer together with colleagues in the region.
  • Collaboration with other professionals and relatives to create the best possible interventions.

The position is a temporary contract until 2025-12-31, with the possibility of extension.

Scope: Full-time (40 hours/week)
Working hours: Monday–Friday 8 AM–5 PM, with the possibility of flexible hours.
Start date: As soon as possible or by agreement.

We are looking for you who:

  • Are a licensed occupational therapist with the authority to practice within Swedish health and medical care. (Requirement)
  • Have a B driver's license for a manual transmission vehicle. (Requirement)
  • Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. (Requirement)
  • Have good computer skills, as all documentation is done digitally. (Requirement)

It is meritorious if you also have:

  • Experience working within Support and Service (FSS) or similar operations.
  • Experience with the assessment tool KaTid.

We are part of the Care Administration's department for health and medical care, responsible for home care and rehabilitation throughout Hässleholm Municipality.

The Rehabilitation Unit's mission covers twelve geographical areas, including regular housing, special housing, and FSS. We work in teams under the leadership of two unit managers and have a close and developing collaboration between our various professional groups.
