Security Coordinator at Göteborg Energi

Your Task

We are now looking for a results-oriented Security Coordinator at Göteborg Energi – a central role where you will have the opportunity to make a real societal impact and strengthen our ability to meet future security challenges.

Here you will be a key player in our work to develop and ensure the highest possible security and preparedness, which is crucial for both society and our internal operations.

Your Main Areas of Responsibility Include:

• Physical security, preparedness, civil defense, risk management, and incident management.
• Ensuring that security requirements for our facilities and ongoing projects are met through close collaboration with the operations.
• Working both operationally in the field to follow up and develop security measures, as well as administratively to document and propose improvements in our security work.
• Supporting and guiding our operations to ensure that all security issues are handled correctly.

In your role, you will work closely with our security specialist, who is also the deputy group security manager, and who leads the tactical and operational security work. Together you will develop and implement security solutions and ensure that our security work maintains the highest quality. You will be an important part of the work to ensure both society's and Göteborg Energi's resilience and security.

Your Team

You will be part of an engaged and goal-oriented security team at Göteborg Energi, which works together to strengthen our internal security and society's resilience. We are constantly growing to meet new challenges in a changed security policy landscape, and we are now looking for another employee who can help us drive security work forward and deliver results.

Your Competence

We are looking for someone with a strong interest in security issues, an ability to handle complex security challenges, and a drive to actively contribute to strengthening our resilience and supply security. You work results-oriented and structured, with a good ability to prioritize and deliver solutions among various issues and questions. With an independent and solution-oriented approach, you tackle tasks effectively while also having good administrative skills.

To succeed in this role, we would like you to have:

• At least 5 years of experience in security work, preferably from a similar position.
• Relevant education, for example in security and preparedness coordination, Risk Management, or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations for security, preparedness, and risk management.
• Experience from the energy and communications sector or other critical infrastructure is an advantage.
