About the workplace

We want to contribute to increased swimming skills and water familiarity among our visitors by creating conditions for swimming and recreation through organized teaching and playful experiences.

Rimnersbadet aims to inspire and contribute to wellness and exercise for the public and create conditions for training and competitive activities for associations and their operations.

Job Responsibilities

As pool staff, you will primarily perform cleaning in our pool areas but also lead water and sauna activities such as water aerobics, wet vest, and sauna sessions.

You will also work at our reception and conduct swimming supervision while ensuring safety in the swimming hall. The job involves creating a pleasant stay through good service and a welcoming attitude in terms of cleaning, activities, and swimming supervision.

In the role of pool staff, your tasks include cleaning, water aerobics, swimming supervision, and swimming instruction. All to ensure our visitors feel welcomed, safe, and at home in our facility.

We offer you a varied job that requires you to take a lot of personal responsibility.

We operate every day of the week, both during the day, evenings, and weekends.

Who are we looking for?

As pool staff at Rimnersbadet, you are the person guests turn to and are expected to be met with good service and a friendly attitude. You see solutions instead of obstacles and have a service mindset in all situations. You are practical, enthusiastic, and work well with others. Good computer skills are important as all our systems are digital. We also appreciate if you have a personal interest in public health, fitness, and sports, as well as being service-minded, flexible, self-driven, and having a good ability to collaborate.

We place great importance on personal qualities when filling the positions.

Qualifications

• Must be a competent swimmer; swim 200m, including diving down to 4m depth to retrieve a doll.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Completed upper secondary education.
• Documented work experience in a service profession.
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, and able to communicate in English verbally.

A swimming test will be conducted during the recruitment process.

Meritorious

• Trained pool lifeguard or equivalent training.
• Trained swimming instructor via the Swedish Lifesaving Society.
• Cleaning training or equivalent education.
• Multilingual.

Interviews will be conducted continuously during the application period.

Employment is subject to the necessary decisions being made. For positions that involve direct and regular contact with children and youth, as well as for operations within LSS, care and nursing, health and medical care, psychiatric care, and addiction care, a valid extract from the police criminal record must be presented or submitted before employment.
