Assignment length: May 2025 to the end of January 2026 with the possibility of extension.

About the assignment

In the role of Security Protection Officer, you will work with systematic security efforts based on the client's security plan, maritime security plans, port security plans, and security protection analyses. You will also be responsible for security protection instructions, signal protection instructions, and emergency planning related to total defense.

As a central part of the security team, you will mentor the security protection administrator and act as the deputy security protection manager and signal protection manager. The role includes both strategic and operational work, where tasks may shift depending on the external situation and protection level.

Responsibilities:

• Development and revision of security protection agreements
• Planning, implementation, and follow-up of security protection work
• Conducting security checks in collaboration with HR
• Incident management and reporting to supervisory authorities
• Analysis of security threats and risks to protected operations
• Advising and setting requirements regarding security protection
• Collaboration with others in the security department
• Participation in security and signal protection forums
• Planning and conducting internal training in security protection

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone with a background in security work and relevant education, such as a security and safety coordinator. You should have completed an advanced course in security protection and training in security screening interviews.

We would like you to have:

• Experience in security administration and security screening
• Completed security protection manager training or equivalent
• Knowledge of handling security threats and risks
• Good ability to work structured and meticulously

For this assignment, a security screening with background check will be conducted.
