SHT Smart High-Tech AB is a fast-growing company that develops and manufactures graphene-enhanced materials for efficient heat management. Our products play a central role in high-performance electronics within AI, data centers, and telecommunications. We are now looking for an EHS Specialist who can ensure and develop our routines regarding environment, health, and safety with a clear focus on production and manufacturing, while we conduct extensive development work.

About the role

As an EHS Specialist with us, you will be responsible for the company's systematic work on workplace environment, safety, and environmental issues, with a particular emphasis on manufacturing and production. You will ensure compliance with legal requirements, environmental permits, and internal guidelines. You will work both strategically and operationally with risk assessments, chemical management, training, incident reporting, and improvement measures to promote a safe and sustainable work environment.

Your main responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and follow up on systematic workplace environment, safety, and environmental work.
• Conduct risk and safety assessments and implement preventive measures.
• Be responsible for chemical management including registration and risk assessment according to legislation.
• Ensure compliance with environmental permits and reporting to authorities.
• Coordinate incidents and ensure quality in the risk reporting system.
• Educate and support the organization on issues related to environment, health, and safety.
• Be responsible for internal audits and act as a contact person for external supervisory authorities.
• Actively promote a culture where safety and sustainability are prioritized in daily work.

Who are you?

You have relevant education in safety and workplace environment and previous experience in EHS work, preferably from a manufacturing or technical industry. You are structured, analytical, and have good administrative skills. Your strong communication skills and proactive attitude enable you to successfully engage colleagues and drive the company's safety, health, and environmental issues forward.

We would like you to have:

• At least 2–3 years of experience in EHS work within the manufacturing industry.
• Good knowledge of relevant legislation regarding workplace environment, environment, and chemicals.
• Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Strong communication skills in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to independently plan, organize, and follow up on EHS work.

Meritorious:

• Experience from the chemical industry, materials technology, or another relevant high-tech sector.
