We are looking for staff for Reception/Security Center at a Government Agency in Gothenburg

Do you want to work in a significant and responsible role within security and reception? We at Tempest are now looking for new employees for a government agency in Gothenburg. You will play a central role in the client's security structure and contribute to a safe and efficient operation.

About the position
As an employee at the security center, you will be responsible for:

• Monitoring security monitors and handling alarms

• Gatekeeping duties and receiving visitors

• Reporting and documenting incidents

• Various administrative tasks related to security

The working hours are scheduled around the clock, and we are therefore recruiting for both day and night shifts.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has at least 1 year of experience in the security industry or similar work, preferably from reception or service-oriented professions.

• Is a trained security guard with VU1 and VU2

• Has good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written (additional language skills are an advantage)

• Is responsible, meticulous, and has good attention to detail

• Has the ability to work independently and take initiative, especially in solitary work.

• Has good computer skills, interest in security systems and monitoring programs.

• Has experience from previous work at a security center or similar position (advantageous)

• Is without a criminal record, drug-free, and in good physical health

• Is approved to work in an authorized security company

To succeed in the role, you are a calm, methodical, and security-conscious person. You have the ability to handle complex work situations and prioritize effectively, even when multiple incidents occur simultaneously. Being outgoing, pleasant, and helpful are important qualities in the job.
