JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a safety development leader within the support administration for people with disabilities, focusing on personal safety and crime prevention work. The position is placed in the Security unit, which in turn is part of the Quality and Governance department. In addition to safety issues, the department is also responsible for quality, digitalization, IT, telecommunications, information and case management, legal matters, archives, and communication.

The unit's work includes personal safety, physical security, as well as crisis preparedness and civil defense, where the unit is responsible for strategic planning and ongoing follow-up in these areas.

As a development leader focusing on personal safety and crime prevention work, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up the administration's work within personal safety and crime prevention issues. In your role, you also work closely with operations by providing advice and support to managers, primarily in the area of personal safety where you support;

  • to create safe and secure workplaces
  • to prevent and minimize risks of threats, violence, or harm
  • and provide advice to employees who have been subjected to threats, violence, or harm

You also work on preparing and compiling decision-making documents for the board, informing and educating, for example, management groups, and participating in local and city-wide networks within your area of responsibility. In your assignment, you are also contract responsible for personal alarms and security services and coordinate efforts in these two areas.

For the unit to function as a whole, handle peaks of workload in individual areas, and manage vacation planning and similar tasks, it is important that you and your colleagues understand each other's tasks and the unit's collective responsibility and mission. You and your colleagues may therefore need to support each other within each other's areas of responsibility.

To perform well, collaboration with the administration's other support functions, such as employees in HR, information security, property, IT, procurement, and more, is also required.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a university degree equivalent to at least 2 years of full-time studies or a qualified vocational college degree with relevant orientation. If you also have post-secondary education or experience from social work, it is considered an advantage. You need to have work experience in the area of personal safety at a strategic level, and it is also advantageous if you have worked as a development leader in safety in a politically governed organization.

You need to have good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, as the position requires you to write reports and statements. It is also required that you have good computer skills and knowledge of Office 365.

To fit into the role of development leader for safety and crisis preparedness, you need to be strategic in thought but operational in action. You have the analytical ability to handle complex contexts that affect the assignment in relation to the administration for support for people with disabilities and the outside world. The work involves both a leading and coordinating role, which requires you to be both collaborative and service-oriented. To carry out your assignment well, we see that you are good at planning, prioritizing, structuring, implementing, and following up on tasks.
