JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

At Skolvägen's LSS residence in Kungsäter, we offer a stimulating and meaningful everyday life for our residents. As a support assistant with us, you will work with care and support in daily life, where each day is unique and filled with opportunities. You will provide educational and practical support to promote independence and quality of life for the residents.

Your tasks include establishing and following up on implementation plans in close collaboration with the residents and their networks. You will be responsible for social documentation and medication management after delegation. An important part of the job is to create a safe and stimulating environment through activities tailored to the residents' interests and abilities.

We value your ability to build good relationships, not only with the residents but also with relatives, guardians, healthcare professionals, and other important contacts.

Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and every other weekend.

As an employee of Varberg Municipality, resource shifts are included, which means you will work in other operations in addition to your primary placement.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with education from the care and nursing program or the child and youth program with a focus on disabilities, or equivalent competence.

Your personality is crucial - we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and has the ability to see opportunities in everyday life. You must be able to communicate clearly, so it is a requirement that you master the Swedish language well, both in speech and writing. You have knowledge of or are willing to learn AAC (Alternative and Augmentative Communication).

We value your ability to work with a low-arousal approach and to see the whole while being able to adapt to individual needs.

If you have an interest in creative activities, music, or other forms of stimulation that can enrich the residents' everyday life, we see this as an advantage.
