About Ågrenska

Ågrenska is a unique, developing meeting place and a national competence center. We conduct various activities from a holistic perspective for children, adolescents, and adults with disabilities, their relatives, and professionals. Ågrenska is owned by the Ågrenska Foundation, a non-profit organization. As an assistant at Ågrenska, you are covered by a collective agreement, entitled to reimbursement for wellness activities, and receive continuous training in your role as a personal assistant. Who will you be working with?

I live in Varberg with my parents, but I manage myself with the help of my personal assistants. As a family, we live ecologically and in harmony with nature.

I am a cheerful and active girl who enjoys doing many different things! My personal assistants are with me around the clock, as I need help with everything in daily life, such as personal care, meals, transfers, activities, and communication. I have a good memory, understand spoken language and sign language, and I am very determined.

I am very social and thrive with life and movement around me. I am almost always happy and believe life should be filled with play, fun, and laughter. I enjoy being outdoors, going to town for coffee, attending concerts, swimming, or just being at home watching movies. During the week, I am at my daily activities or other fixed engagements. On weekends, I try to go out for various fun activities, and in the summer, I am especially active outdoors.

Scope of the position

The position is a 75% temporary position until April. After April, we hope you can cover summer vacations planned to start as early as May. The working hours for this position include days, evenings, nights (3.5 hours on-call, the rest active assistance), and weekends.

Who are you applying?

This is a job that suits you who enjoy a varied assistant job with full speed.

You should preferably have experience in similar work, but the most important thing is that the chemistry is right. You should be cheerful and positive, secure and empathetic, pedagogical, and have retained a childlike spirit!

A driver's license is desirable but not a requirement.
