About the Position

The open care is part of the individual and family services and is the social services' open operations for families with children aged 0-21 years, adults who are victims of violence, and perpetrators of violence.

We work with assistance according to SoL and interventions supported by LVU in close collaboration with the responsible social workers, as well as advice and support without prior assistance assessment. In our operations, we also conduct group activities aimed at children and adults. We have a broad municipal mandate and our vision is to provide users with the best possible care by being flexible based on competence and experience.

The unit provides advice, support, and treatment conversations with individuals and/or families, as well as preventive work aimed at groups. We implement decisions regarding visitation support, youth service/youth care, and participate in meetings with partners.

We are keen to meet individuals where they are and work to find flexible solutions to create good contacts with those we meet. This means we are looking for an employee who sees the benefit of meeting individuals both in conversation rooms and in their homes, or at another location that matches the individual's wishes and needs. The position also includes working in the individual's home environment with practical pedagogical support or with activities outside the home. As a therapist, it is important that you enjoy working both independently and collaboratively with colleagues.

Are You the One We Are Looking For?

The requirements for the position are a university degree such as a social work degree, social and behavioral science education, or other similar education deemed equivalent by the employer.

We would like applicants to have further education such as training in family therapy, solution-focused approaches, Signs of Safety, Marte Meo, BOF (child and family-oriented therapy), MI, children's group activities (The Tribe, Different Worlds), ABC, child-focused conversations, or other relevant training. You need to have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing.
