Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each customer is unique, and your tasks vary based on the customer's needs. You respect the customer's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

Our client is a social and cheerful woman living in Varberg with a great interest in various activities, such as going to the theater and bowling. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, has a calm demeanor, and is comfortable taking initiative. The role requires a good ability to create trusting relationships, as the work involves providing support in everyday life with all that it entails.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

  • wants to work with a woman in her 40s living in Varberg
  • has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
  • can work in a home with a cat

It is also an advantage if you:

  • have experience with mobility impairments
  • have experience with transfer aids, such as lifts

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The position is a summer temporary position of about 60%, scheduled from week 25 to week 32. The work involves daytime and evening shifts.

Week 25-27: 3-4 weekdays per week, 08:00-09:30 Week 28-32: 2 shifts per week (weekday and/or weekend), 10:00-20:00

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations according to collective agreement.

Start date

According to agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present a valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you will need to present an extract from the police criminal record before a potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
